Dashboard Confessional, led by the charismatic Chris Carrabba, has long been a forerunner in the emo scene thanks to its heart-on-your-sleeve lyricism and poignant detailing of love and loss. The group has consistently seen mainstream success with its past four albums breaking into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. The band is making appearances alongside fellow rockers Third Eye Blind at the Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park on June 13, at Jones Beach Theater on June 14 and at JBL Live at Pier 97 in New York City on June 19.
