The charity festival Rock 2 Adopt returns once again to raise money for a local New Jersey zoo and humane shelter. Groups such as the country-influenced singer-songwriter Nikki Briar And The Sweet Briar Band and rock music cover band The Jersey Surecats will headline the weekend to encourage pet adoptions. Other homegrown Jersey acts performing include the bluesy-rock quartet Lone Shark and classic rock-styled RIPPED. Alongside the musical performances, events such as face painting and juggling will help entertain attendees of all ages. The festival will be held June 20-21 at the Popcorn Park Zoo in Forked River, New Jersey.
