Rock The Yacht Tour: Grooving To Shore

The music festival Rock The Yacht is pulling back to the docks this year in Staten Island, ready to party the night away. This event is notorious for grandiose performances, providing a night its audience will never forget. To name a few of the past acts, Jerry Seinfeld, B-52s, Adam Lambert, Joan Rivers, and the Jonas Brothers have had their share of the stage. This year’s venue is packed with a once in a lifetime grouping including Little River Band, Ambrosia, Player, Stephen Bishop, and Robbie Dupree. Little River Band, originally from Australia, has been releasing albums since their debut in 1975; Cuts Like A Diamond, produced in 2012, is their most recent. Meanwhile, the 1970, Southern California band, Ambrosia, released five new songs in April 2015 including their new single, “Glitter And Gold.” Player, of the ‘70s as well, released a new album in 2013, Too Many Reasons. These seasoned artists continue to produce new material, keeping with the times and their fans—and they plan to deliver their newest, and most cherished, works live at Rock The Yacht at the St. George Theatre on July 16.
