The Bird And The Bee: The B’s Are Back

L.A.-based indie pop duo Greg Kurstin and Inara George have recently been tending to their ongoing project, The Bird And The Bee, and are returning with their long-awaited follow-up to their acclaimed 2010 release, Interpreting The Masters, Vol. 1: A Tribute To Daryl Hall And John Oates. While also working with Kurstin in The Bird And The Bee, George also sings in the indie-folk group, The Living Sisters, and Kurstin’s a Grammy Award-nominated producer who’s worked with Sia, Lykke Li, and Charli XCX. Though the dynamic duo has clearly been busy with other ventures these days, their unique sound has maintained its charming lighthearted progression throughout the years, as you can easily pick up on while watching the new music video for their latest single, “Will You Dance?” which stars Patton Oswalt and The Big Bang Theory’s Simon Helberg. Kurstin and George will release their fourth album, Recreational Love, on July 17, and will be hosting an official album release show in New York City on the same date at Webster Hall.
