Drive A: Punk’d

—by , September 28, 2010

How many times have you heard the phrase “punk is dead” spew from the mouth of some old disillusioned punk fan or even from one of those disillusioned punk bands from the days of yore? At least one band is trying to stick to their punk roots. Drive A play razor sharp punk with all the politics and messages that you’d expect from a punk band. They don’t like the government, they don’t like people, hell, I don’t think they really like anything other than rocking out and giving amazing shows. Drive A will be coming to a venue near you sometime soon because they’ll be playing in support of Bullet for my Valentine on Oct. 1 at Roseland Ballroom.
