On Aug. 6 (rain date Aug. 7) local favorites, cover bands and a legendary DJ will get together to raise money to help support Pompton Lakes Elks Lodge No. 1895 and it’s camp for special needs children, Elks Camp Moore. Rockin’ The Lake 2011 is set to be a day full of good tunes, food and people all joining together to raise money for the local community. The all-ages event opens its gates at 11:30 a.m., tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of. Children under 12 get in for free with an adult.
