Despite what I’m sure is a very difficult task, The Blakes have managed to capture audiences with their new yet old sound. The Seattle natives, comprised of three talented gentlemen, contain many different styles in their music, ranging from electronic to honky tonk. As a nice treat for their fans, The Blakes have released a new record, The Art Of Losses, on July 24 via Remote Records. In order to follow-up with the album they will be performing at Pianos on July 26 and The Saint on July 27.

The Blakes continue to surprise me with each new release. I’ve been a loyal fan for over four years and unless I’m away from technology, they are a daily fix. Live performances have infectious energy… seek these boys out!!
