Though they have suffered their fair amount of band-related hardships, Fates Warning are still going strong. After taking a nine-year hiatus from recording new material, the progressive metal band returned with their 11th studio album, Darkness In A Different Light. The group first became prominent on the metal scene after the release of their 1986 record, Awaken The Guardian. In support of the new album, they will be performing at The Studio At Webster Hall on Nov. 23, Dingbatz on Nov. 24, and Revolution in Amityville, NY on Nov. 26.
