The Temper Trap is an indie-rock band from Australia about to embark on their first North American tour. They use guitar and bass arrangements similar to U2 with an android vocal mix of Coldplay and Radiohead for a soothing Xanax-like anesthesia. On Oct. 22 The Temper Trap will be playing Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn for $15, then they will be moving on to NYC’s Bowery Ballroom to play a sold-out show on Oct. 23. thetempertrap.net.
