Shayfer James: Celebrating Simulation

Shayfer James will be performing at Maxwell’s in Hoboken on Jan. 20. The event will celebrate the release of his second album, Counterfeit Arcade. The 11-track CD is poetic and melodious, complete with intricate instrumentals and complex piano, organ and flute arrangements. It includes hit singles “Diggin’ Up Hatchets” and “Weight Of The World.” Also performing will be Those Mockingbirds. The show starts at 8:30 p.m.; tickets are $8 each.
