Texas band The Young are heading to the East Coast for their co-headlining tour with Purling Hiss. Their recent album, Dub Egg, has gained some mainstream exposure, as compared to their 2005 release, Voyagers Of Legends. On Wednesday, June 27 at the Mercury Lounge in New York, they are playing a late show, as doors open at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $12. The next night they take on Maxwell’s in Hoboken. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. On Friday, June 29, they play in Brooklyn at 285 Kent with Nude Beach. Tickets are $10.
