New Jersey-based singer-songwriter Nicole Atkins will be playing at the Bowery Ballroom on Feb. 13 in support of her new album, Slow Phaser. As a follow-up for her 2011 full-length, Mondo Amore, Atkins has reevaluated her sound with the help of Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds drummer Jim Sclavunos along with producer Tore Johnson, whom she partnered with for her debut, Neptune City. By incorporating an electrifying dance club twist on her single “Girl You Look Amazing,” Atkins adds an exquisite and interesting spice of variety to her bold nightlife-influenced pop sound.
