JD Samson & MEN, known for their shows that are a combination of electro-punk and performance art, will be playing The Jewish Museum on March 27. Featuring JD Samson of Le Tigre fame, the band released their second full-length, Labor, in Oct. 2013 on their own MEN Make Music label. The group combines the dance party atmosphere of an electronic show with the opinionated rebellion of vintage punk, and their songs tackle some of the issues impacting the world today, such as economics, sexual identity, and civil liberties, through a fun and energized performance.
