Amen Dunes, usually Damon McMahon’s own project, has been upgraded, and the music on the new album Love was recorded with the help of a list of other musicians, including frequent collaborators Jordi Wheeler and Parker Kindred. Recorded in Montreal with the help of members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Love is the third LP from Amen Dunes, and features some more of McMahon’s signature dreamy haze over traditional folk sounds. The album release show will be at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn on May 15.
