Canadian punk rockers White Lung are back with a vengeance, set to release their highly-anticipated third album, Deep Fantasy, on June 16. The album should resonate with feminist listeners, as lead singer Mish Way attacks the patriarchy, body image and other modern controversies with her cutting lyrics. Recently signed to Domino (Arctic Monkeys, Real Estate, Dirty Projectors), the band is expected to blow up after their international tour. White Lung hit NY on June 25 at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn and June 26 at Mercury Lounge in the Lower East Side.
