This summer, LL Cool J, Ice Cube, Public Enemy, and De La Soul will come together for the Kings Of The Mic tour. It’s a landmark year for these legends of ‘80s rap: Ice Cube is gearing up for the release of his 10th solo album, LL released his 14th in April, and Public Enemy celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2012. They aren’t just going back to the roots of hip-hop; they’re bringing together the modern generations of fans with the same force that made them famous. The tour will hit 26 cities in all, and will come to the NJPAC in Newark on June 18 and the Roseland Ballroom in NYC on June 20.
