LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ—Another in a series of Ocean County Library special performances, Squeeze vocalist/songwriter/guitarist Glenn Tilbrook entertained nearly 350 fans during an outdoor show on a beautiful Saturday evening at the Jersey Shore. Playing something of a greatest hits setlist and accompanied by his 10-year-old son Leon on guitar, backing vocals and percussion, Tilbrook proved to be a masterful guitarist on such well-known chestnuts as “Black Coffee In Bed,” “Annie, Get Your Gun,” “If I Didn’t Love You,” “Tempted,” “Goodbye Girl,” “Pulling Mussels From A Shell” and Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well” with enthusiasm, wit and droll British charm. Opening was River City Extension guitarist/vocalist Joe Michelini.
