Former Dead Boys guitarist Cheetah Chrome will perform in NYC three times this week. These days, Chrome is best known for founding Nashville label Plowboy Records and his latest effort, an EP of original music titled Solo. See Chrome live Sept. 11 at Niagara in the East Village and Sept. 12 and 14 at The Bowery Electric. Chrome’s Niagara performance will be free and his Bowery Electric performances will respectively feature members of Joan Jett’s The Blackhearts, Iggy Pop and Misfits and honor The Ramones. Catch the Bowery’s favorite punk now, before his short NYC stint ends.
