Inked Out: Dreamland Creations Tim Louie July 16, 2009 Tattoo 2 Joining Myke are a few other artists. There’s Sherley, who hails from Puerto Rico and has been tattooing for 14 years. There’s also a kid named Ren Di, who is still fairly young, but he’s pretty good! After looking at all of their artwork, it would be pretty tough to choose which artist I would want working on me. Collectively, they all have tons of experience, and seem to be pretty nice and pretty patient when it comes to working with their customers. Dreamland Creations does have rules to abide by, just like most shops! They asks that no minors under 16 years of age be brought into the shop, and minors that are 16 and over must be accompanied by an adult. They also have a policy that they will not tattoo anyone who is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, which is a standard policy at most shops. As for prices, Dreamland Creations charges on a job-by-job basis rather than hourly. They feel that charging by the hour isn’t fair to the customer. Dreamland Creations is committed to following the highest health standards. They treat each customer as if they may have an infectious disease; therefore they follow some pretty strict sterilization and cleanliness procedures. New needles are always used and all equipment is autoclave sterilized. The shop feels that not only do they have to protect their customer’s health, they also have to protect their own, which makes absolute sense! By the way, Dreamland Creations does do piercing on the premises also, by appointment. They will pierce anything from tongues, lips, cheeks, ears, eyebrows, navels, and they even do erotic piercing. It’s not my thing, but don’t let that stop anyone else! Dreamland Creations is a cute little shop in downtown Stroudsburg that you need to visit if you’re ever in the area. It’s clean, friendly, and the artwork speaks for itself! The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1 p.m. till 9 p.m. Appointments are preferred and can be made by calling the shop at (570) 421-6313. Walk-ins are welcome too, so if you want to stop down at the shop, they’re located at 506 Main Street in Stroudsburg, PA. If you want to take a look at Dreamland Creations online, you can do so by logging onto dreamlandcreations.com. Well, I’m off to check out my next tattoo place! If you have a tattoo shop that you want to suggest to me please email me the name of the place and whom I should ask for! 2 Responses Vintage Karma December 27, 2010 Hi Tim, It would be great if you took a moment to check out my tattoo studio website.
