For those who like to bring metal to the party, the band Wilson will be opening for Jason Newsted at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park May 23 during their summer tour. Based out of Detroit, this five-piece heavy group doesn’t hold anything back. They rock an over-the-top music persona and embrace a lifestyle of trying to be louder, sweatier, and shredding harder than anyone else. If there’s one band your parents don’t want you listening to, it’s Wilson. Their new record, Full Blast Fuckery, will be released July 9 via New Damage Records.
