The Project Matters is New Jersey-based non-profit organization that helps young musicians with legal assistance, musical expenses and performance opportunities. Its goal is to allow and encourage artists to reach their full creative potential. Australian rock band Gold Fields, as well as the solo Rush Midnight, will be playing at a benefit concert organized by the charity. The opening act is local teenage rockers GNGR. The concert will take place on Oct. 9 at Mexicali Live in Teaneck, with tickets between $15-18.
