Jay Brannan: Blue Jays

Jay Brannan is a singer-songwriter who started off doing heartbreaking, indie folk covers of songs such as The Verve Pipe’s “Freshman,” Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know,” and Bob Dylan’s “Blowin’ In The Wind.” After building a fanbase on YouTube, he has released three albums since 2009. Brannan is now going on tour to promote his newest EP, Around The World In 80 Jays, which contains nine international covers in six different languages. He will be playing at SubCulture in New York City on Dec. 13.
