Run River North: No Frills

Run River North, a California indie folk group that has been rapidly making a name for the themselves, will be playing in NYC at Bowery Ballroom on July 26. The Korean-American sextet has gained large acclaim for their eponymous debut LP, a powerful but emotional mix of classic indie folk that unlike that of so many other artists lacks in any effort to hit the mainstream charts with catchy pop elements. Their NYC performance is part of a long series of shows that has already seen them sell out multiple venues back home and on the East Coast.
