Former Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly has been keeping himself busy all these years, playing with United Nations and No Devotion, as well as maintaining a solo career. Rickly’s music takes on a much darker, more folk-influenced sound than his other projects, highlighting another side to his musical tastes and talents. He’ll be playing a one-off show at the legendary Maxwell’s in Hoboken on Friday, May 29. Rickly sees support from post-hardcore band Gatherers (formerly Gatherer), folk singer/songwriter Meghann Wright, and alternative/indie group, Help Me Help You.
