Folk rock duo the Indigo Girls have had quite the career since the release of their debut album back in 1987, and now they have released their very first holiday record. Holly Happy Days features classic holiday songs, as well as originals. The girls will be performing songs off this record at a special show at Irving Plaza on Dec. 9 (tickets $35.50 before fees, doors 7 p.m.). But don’t be too bummed if you can’t make it; the girls have a few television performances slated as well, for Good Morning New York and CBS Early Morning Saturday.
