Bruce Springsteen, Chris Vrenna of Marilyn Manson and Three Doors Down have all performed at Brighton Bar and now your band can too. Brighton Bar will be offering two new weekly events that will take part every Wednesday and Thursday nights. Wednesday’s will headline a well-known local band while Thursdays will welcome DJ C-Rex, a local DJ at The Fastlane in Asbury Park and manager of Jack’s Music Shoppe in Red Bank. The first Wednesday will feature local band Reason on Aug. 3 following the next day will be the first Alternative Thursday with DJ C-Rex spinning alternative bands from the ‘80s, ‘90s and today. Welcoming the first Alternative Thursday on Aug. 4 will be $2 margaritas and $2 draft beers. Admission is unbeatable with only a $5 cover charge at the door every Wednesday and a $2 entry every Thursday.
