Lindi Ortega is set to perform after the tremendous response her recent album, Cigarettes And Truck Stops, has received. Released at the beginning of October, Cigarettes And Truck Stops is the result of months of work with famed musician and producer Colin Linden. The album is an effort by Ortega to tell the story of a wandering traveler, as the name of the album implies, while naturally merging the alternative country and blues genres into a single package. Her tour with Social Distortion will hit the Roseland Ballroom on Oct. 26, The Paramount on Oct. 27, the Starland Ballroom on Nov. 1, and the Electric Factory on Nov. 3.
