After releasing their sophomore LP, >>, in July 2012, the eccentric UK band Beak> have decided to have a go at touring, and will be hitting up New York this month. The project was conceived and is currently led by Geoff Barrow, the instrumentalist for the band Portishead, and consists of Billy Fuller and Matt Williams. Beak> released their debut album in November 2009, and incredibly, recorded the entire record live in one room with no overdubs or repair, and created arrangements by using only edits. Beak> will be performing at the Bowery Ballroom on Feb. 10.
