Austin folk rock with a modern twist, Danny Malone‘s most recent album, Balloons, has been critically acclaimed. His new music is very different from the folk rock of the past due to added dreamy background instrumentals as well as his high voice. He has just released a video for his new single, “Sugar Water,” and will be visiting the East Coast in support of the record. Danny Malone will play at the Rockwood Music Hall in NYC on Jan. 23 as well as on Feb. 4 as part of the Communion Music Showcase.
