Bouncing Souls: Hopeless Romantic Jersey Boys

—by , August 18, 2009

Admit it, you still like The Bouncing Souls even if you first listened to them off a Punk-O-Rama compilation you bought when you were 13. You can’t hate this band! Their fast bass lines, catchy guitar riffs, and singer Greg Attonito’s signature tuneful voice create fun punk songs that make you feel great in under two minutes. Celebrating their 20th anniversary together, they’ve released one new track on the first of every month in 2009. The Bouncing Souls will be playing Webster Hall on Aug. 20 with Lifetime and on Aug. 21 with 7 Seconds and at The Trocadaro in Philadelphia on Aug. 22 and 23.

  2. dude. that WAS how I found out about them, when I was 13 through Punk-O-Rama 3.. it was a copy I borrowed from my brother and it had the paper glued on the cd deal. Almost ten years later and they’re still my favorite band haha
