At the height of her career, former Christian rock musician Jennifer Knapp took a hiatus to find a part of herself which she felt she lost in her success. She recently released her first album in seven years, Letting Go. Knapp has come out as a lesbian, and is using her newest record to help bridge the gap between people of faith and people of the LGBTQ community. She will be playing at The Suffolk Theater in Riverhead, NY on May 4, and at The Saint in Asbury Park on May 5.
