A string of recent robberies in New Brunswick, NJ, has hit close to home for the local rock group Cotton. Victims of the crimes are Rutgers students and neighbors to members of the band. Cotton will be holding a fundraiser event at Tumulty’s Pub on George Street in New Brunswick on March 22. All proceeds will go to help the victims of the robberies to try and replace what was taken from them. Following the show at Tumulty’s, Cotton will be continuing their tour of the local area up until the early summer. Tickets for the benefit are $5. Doors open at 8 p.m. 21+.
