The Boxer Rebellion: Modern Day Mutiny Kari Vander Weit September 21, 2010 Goings-On Named for the historic event where a group of radicals in China murdered thousands of foreigners to rid their country of outside influence, The Boxer Rebellion, isn’t quite as daunting. Rather, this indie rock group’s sound is consistently mellow with a lulling lead singer and reassuring instrumentation. The forlorn foursome is coming to the Bowery Ballroom on Sept. 23 and The Bell House on Sept. 25. Tickets start at $15. 8 p.m. Leave a Reply Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.CommentName* Email* Website Save my name, email, and website in this browser for the next time I comment.
