This four-piece folk rock band from California seemed to come out of nowhere. The members of the band met while attending college on the East Coast, performed a few songs, got signed to Domino, and now have their first full release. The album, Modern Rituals, dropped on Aug. 16. After just a couple months, Chief is headlining their first show at Bowery Ballroom on Dec. 7. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door for the 8:30 p.m. show. 18+ only.
