The rising folk band, Lucinda Black Bear is re-releasing their second album, Knives, due to popular demand. First issued digitally in November, the album will be available as a CD in stores starting in late January. Their string-filled compositions can be heard on Jan. 30 at The Mercury Lounge where they will perform with Bronze and Anything Maria, with DJ Lani Love playing between sets. The live performance filled with fusions of cellos, pianos and drums is sure to be inspiring. Tickets are $10 for the 7 p.m. show.
