Nat Baldwin: Back To Civilization

Nat Baldwin, the double bassist/singer-songwriter who learned at the feet of Anthony Braxton, releasing Lights Out, Enter The Winter and Most Valuable Player, has streamlined things for sounds on his newest, People Changes. Inspired by New England’s forests, Baldwin has streamlined his sounds from the experimental styles he provided Dirty Projectors with to imitate the stark woods he worked on the album in. He’s coming back to civilization on May 7 and 8 at Zebulon for some intimate jazz that may inspire you to take a weekend away to check out the roots of the sounds.
