We Barbarians, the alternative rock trio, has been on the rise since their 2009 EP, There’s This There’s That. In the past year, the band has opened for numerous big name groups, including Ra Ra Riot, Passion Pit and Tokyo Police Club. Now, We Barbarians are opening for Pepper Rabbit at the Mercury Lounge in New York on Aug. 31. The band will be playing everything from songs off their first EP, to singles off their up-and-coming EP, Headspace. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10.
