Looking for some fun in the sun with multicultural music and entertainment? Check out the band Freshlyground, who will be performing at Central Park’s SummerStage on June 26. The seven-piece band is primarily known for gaining much of their recognition when they teamed up with Shakira on the 2010 FIFA World Cup theme “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa).” Currently the group will be coming to North America for the first time to release their debut album, Radio Africa, featuring the single “Fire Is Low.” Their music will have you celebrating life in its simplest form. The free concert starts at 3 p.m.
