IAMDYNAMITE is an ‘80s-inspired duo comprised of Chris Phillips on drums/vocals and Christopher Martin on guitar and lead vocals. The two musicians are originally from Michigan; their new album, Wasa Tusa, was released via Brando Records Aug. 7. Wasa Tusa is upbeat, fun and reminiscent of ‘80s pop. The duo have said their name comes from this quote by Nietzsche: “I know my fate. One day there will be associated with my name the recollection of something frightful…I am not a man. I am dynamite.” IAMDYNAMITE will be touring on Sept. 19 at Webster Hall in NYC and on Sept. 23 at Stanhope House in Stanhope, NJ.
