Canadian pop rock band Marianas Trench released their new album, Astoria, in October. The songs are focused on the band’s love of 1980s fantasy and adventure films. Appropriately, the album is named after Astoria, Oregon, which is the hometown in the film The Goonies. Throughout these songs, Marianas Trench keep up their catchy melodies while also having influences of film scores. Their tour in support of Astoria will come to the Wellmont Theater in Montclair on Nov. 25.
