She’s like the Britney Spears of Portuguese fado (only actually musically talented). Ana Moura is young and beautiful and has the voice of her country’s oldest style of music. Backed by mandolin and acoustic guitars, she sings with the signature dramatic sound of the style, while bringing a poppier edge to the classical form.
