Classic rock is not dead, and Rival Sons of Long Beach, CA proves that, even as a younger band. We usually hear the classic rock sounds coming from the bands that have been around for decades, but this group has only been around since 2009. The tour edition of their fourth LP, Great Western Valkyrie, shows off their incorporation of blues in its guitar riffs and drum beats, along with Jay Buchanan’s remarkable vocals. This LP will be performed on their 2016 world tour where Rival Sons will be supporting Black Sabbath. They will be making two stops at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 25 and 27.
