Metal legends Gwar are ready to set our area on fire with two local performances later this month. Known for their extravagant live shows with daunting costumes and blood-soaked rage, Gwar will be playing at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on Sunday, Feb. 20, and at the Starland Ballroom on Thursday, Feb. 24, in Sayreville NJ. Bloody Pit Of Horror, the 12th studio album from Gwar, was released on Nov. 9, 2010, and sold about 2,800 copies in its first week. Both shows from the 25-year veteran rockers kickoff at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $17.00 and $25.00, respectively.
