Guitar Con: Two Days Of Rock

Guitar Con is making its way to New Jersey this summer. It’s the perfect place for lovers of music to meet, discover new groups and promote their own bands. Guitar Con NJ will feature sales, promotions, clinics and workshops. There will be many interesting vendors as well as opportunities to meet professional musicians. Vendors include Spider Capo, Guitar Center, Simple Machine Guitars and Peter Head, an artist who will be showcasing his inexpensive handcrafted guitars, banjos and kalimbas.

Acts include punk-rock band Subcommittee, jazz guitarist Frank DiBussolo and composer Rob Balducci. Bob Fusco, one of the best speaker cabinet manufacturers in the nation, will be also be attending. The event will take place at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus from Aug. 27-28. The two-day extravaganza will feature a Saturday Night Jam at the Embassy Suites adjacent to the Meadowlands Expo. Doors open at 10 a.m. both days. Tickets are $15 each, or $25 for a weekend pass.
