Want an overdose of pop bands? Take a trip into NYC for the International Pop Overthrow Music Festival. For the ninth consecutive year this festival (loaded with 70 bands few have heard of) is back from Nov. 3-8. There is a promising variety of bands booked such as Return To Simple, Dreaming In Stereo, and The Brixton Riot. This year’s dates are being held at Kenny’s Castaways for $10, except on Saturday and Sunday, when the festival is split into two, charging $10 for each half of the show. internationalpopoverthrow.com.
