As Tall As Lions of Long Island played music for eight years before they announced their breakup in 2010. The high school friends gained a following with each of their releases, up until their last album, You Can’t Take It With You, which was released in August 2009. Their supporters remained loyal to As Tall As Lions, even years after their breakup, leading to a request in them playing reunion shows. The band responded to this through an announcement on Facebook that they will be reuniting for four shows, two on the West Coast and two on the East Coast. As Tall As Lions will be performing at Webster Hall in Manhattan on Dec. 28 and Dec. 30.
